Retirement Plan

Peterson Contractors, Inc. has an employee Retirement Plan. The Plan is managed by The Vanguard Group and Captrust Financial Advisors acts as the Plan’s Retirement Plan Consultant.

Vanguard Connect is easy to use and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can review your account information, initiate selected transactions and fine-tune your retirement planning strategy. Please take time to review your account information and make any changes if necessary.

You can access your account in three ways:

1. Online. Go to www.vanguard.com/retirementplans to sign up for account access. You will be able to check your balance, conduct transactions, research investments, use financial planning tools, and more. You will need your Plan number to sign up: 094266.

2. On your mobile device. Go to vanguard.com/bemobile to download the Vanguard app so you can access your account on the go.

3. By Phone. Call 800-523-1188 to reach Vanguard’s 24-hour interactive VOICE Network. You’ll need your Social Security number and a personal identification number (PIN) to use VOICE. To create a PIN, follow the prompts. Or you can speak with a Vanguard Participant Services associate Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 8 pm Central time.

Health Insurance

PCI provides an optional health insurance plan to its employees who voluntarily elect to have the insurance and work a minimum number of hours per year.  The company may pay a portion of the premiums.  The current insurance provider is Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Cafeteria Plan

PCI offers a Cafeteria Plan through Allstate, which includes cash benefits when you are sick or injured.  It also includes life insurance.  Please call our Allstate agent for more information at 515-432-2230. Enrollment is one time a year, typically April 1.
